Anita

Hi, I'm Ana! I was born and raised here in Rivas, Nicaragua. Bethel Center of Hope was founded after I ventured into a part of my hometown that I had never seen before. On my walk I encountered the city dump, and I was overwhelmed by a reality that I didn't know existed in my own town. I used to be very involved with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) throughout Central America, the United States, and Thailand. I have a huge heart for Southeast Asia, but after my journey to the dump it became clear that God had me back in Rivas to serve a different purpose (at least for now).

Christina

Hi I am Christina. I am from Switzerland, but for the last two years I have worked at Bethel. I am a nurse and I like to work with kids. In particular, I like to tell stories about God and Jesus and organize programs for them. I simply Iove being around the kids in Bethel. I like snow but I dont like cold weather. And I am absolutly crazy about baseball.

Isa

Hi! My name is Isa and I'm 22 years old. I love to work with kids, especially with the little ones. I enjoy all sorts of crazy stuff with them, and I love encouraging them to discover their full creative potential. I have been working at Bethel since 2013. It is a very special place to me; it's the place that I discovered God's grace.

Maykeline

I'm Maykeline Canelo. I'm twenty-four years old and I am a lawyer. I started coming to the center three years ago, and I enjoy everyday that I spend with the kids. Working with them gives me the chance to show them love and affection which some of them don't have at home. Receiving their pure and sincere love in return is a unique experience.

Iona

I'm a volunteer from Latin Link and I'll be working at Bethel Mission until May 2016. I'm currently studying Spanish and French at my university back in the UK, and this is the year I get to put it into practice out here!

The Bethel center is a really great place for the children to come and play in a safe and loving environment. I'm very excited about my time here and for what God's got planned. I've got lots of ideas for different activities for the children and in particular am looking to start some worship times with them and maybe even some guitar lessons!
